Bringing home a puppy is a big decision, and we believe finding the right home is just as important as raising exceptional puppies.
At Smashbox Kennels, every family begins by completing a Puppy Application. This gives us the opportunity to get to know you, learn what you're looking for, and ensure that one of our puppies is the right fit for your home and lifestyle.
What Happens Next?
1. Submit Your Puppy Application
Tell us about your family, lifestyle, and what you're looking for in your future companion.
2. Application Review
We'll carefully review your application and reach out with any questions if needed.
3. Join the Waitlist
Once approved, you'll receive information about joining our waitlist and submitting your $250 reservation fee.
4. Puppy Selection
Families generally begin choosing their puppies around 3 weeks of age in reservation order. For those requesting a puppy with specific temperament traits, selections may be delayed until 7–8 weeks of age so the puppies can be more thoroughly evaluated.
5. Go Home Day!
Throughout the journey, you'll receive photos, updates, and support as your puppy grows and prepares for life with your family.
Our goal is to make this process exciting, transparent, and enjoyable while helping every puppy find the loving home they deserve.
